The Clark Realty organization is committed to providing quality affordable housing in metropolitan areas across the United States. The company is actively involved in the development, construction, rehabilitation and management of apartment communities for residents meeting income qualifications. Many of the properties in Clark Realty's 5,000 unit portfolio are financed through tax credits, HUD, or other housing programs sponsored by various state agencies.
In 2002, one of our most forward-thinking ventures involved a unique partnership between Clark Realty and the non-profit Change All Souls Housing Corporation (CASHC). Together, the partnership set a model for the future preservation of affordable housing by obtaining a 20-year commitment to preserve the long-term affordability of Columbia Heights Village. Clark Realty was also honored with the "Affordable Housing Development Award of Excellence" from the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency for the renovation of Rockburne Estates.
