Admiral Hartman 76 Military Family Homes Clark Builders Group renovated a total of 76 single-family homes in the Admiral Hartman neighborhood of Pacific Beach as part of the Phase 2 public/private venture (PPV) with the Navy. Originally constructed in 1960 in an early “Ranch-Style” architecture, the homes consist of three-and four-bedroom units that average approximately 1,640 square feet. All of the homes include a one-car garage, attached or detached, depending on the floor plan. Interior renovations of these units included demolition of the homes down to bare studs. Some of the major upgrades involved complete renovation of the out-dated kitchens and baths which afforded each home new cabinets, countertops, fixtures and appliances. The units also received all new drywall, paint, flooring, doors, base and thresholds. The exterior renovations included updated vinyl windows, sliding glass doors, stucco, vinyl siding and new garden walls at the entry of each unit. New landscape, irrigation and perimeter fencing were installed at each unit, contributing to the modernization of the neighborhood community. PROJECT DATA
